Background
Palmetto was one of the first cannabis brands we created at Stunt Pilot. We knew we had to make a great impression, as consumers were bombarded with cannabis brands after legalization in Canada.
Consistency is essential to brand awareness and all the designers made sure every element felt whimsical, wacky, and peculiar. Whether it was a social post or a swag item, anyone who saw it could feel what Palmetto was all about.
Projects
As one of Stunt Pilot’s main clients, we helped Palmetto with creating and maintaining their website, along with many product launches and marketing campaigns.
My role involved creating strain illustrations, campaign concepts, in-store advertising, and animation for videos and social posts.
I also worked in Webflow to update the site for product launches, holidays, including designing, implementing, and testing new features, like helping users find their nearest store.
Results
Since the brand’s inception in 2019, Palmetto has become well known amongst cannabis consumers.
As one of the brands at the forefront of Canadian legalization, Palmetto has become a familiar face within the industry as well. Our work has been recognized by Clio Cannabis, receiving two awards for Web & Microsite design, and received an Ad Rodeo Merit for Illustration Series.
